Itinerary:

Day 1: Hometown - Mexico City

Departure on a flight to Mexico City. Arrival at Mexico City International Airport. Reception and transfer to your hotel. Check in at hotel. Rest of the day free. Accommodation.

Day 2: Mexico City (City Tour)

Breakfast at the hotel. You will visit the Zócalo, the National Palace (outside view). You will see the ruins of what was the Great Temple of the Aztecs and the Metropolitan Cathedral. You will be taken to the historic Chapultepec Forest surrounded by residential areas such as Las Lomas, where you will see the residences of famous artists. Accommodation.

Day 3: Mexico City - Basilica of Guadalupe - Pyramids of Teotihuacan

Breakfast at the hotel. Panoramic visit to the Plaza de las Tres Culturas: historic site where the last battle between Aztecs and Spaniards took place and which symbolizes the fusion of 3 cultural eras represented by the Aztec ruins, the church of Tlatelolco and the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. After a short stop, we will continue to the Basilica of Guadalupe, where we will see the original image of the Virgin of Guadalupe. You will learn the story of how it was captured on the cloak of the indigenous Juan Diego and see the ancient basilica at the foot of Tepeyac Hill. By a modern highway we will go directly to the archaeological zone of Teotihuacán, the city of the gods, 50 km away where we will be able to admire the impressive pyramids of the sun and the moon, walk along the avenue of the dead and visit an obsidian workshop to demonstrate this and the maguey. Accommodation.

Day 4: Mexico City - Cuernavaca - Taxco

Breakfast at the hotel. We will leave in the morning towards Cuernavaca from the south of the city and continue along the modern highway that in approximately 1 hour will take us to the city of bougainvilleas or eternal spring due to its warm climate. We will visit the cathedral that was built as a Mission in 1552 and in 1891 was elevated to a cathedral (representative of the viceroyalty era). We will continue our journey along winding roads through the Sierra Madre Occidental mountain range, flanked by valleys and pine forests, and we will enter the mountains of the state of Guerrero until we reach the picturesque colonial mining city of Taxco, known as the city of silver. We will visit the famous church of Santa Prisca, which is said to have been built with silver from Taxco. Time to visit its silver shops, walking through its squares and cobbled streets framed by rustic and picturesque red-tiled houses that have been the source of inspiration for countless artists. Return to the hotel at approximately 8:00 p.m. Accommodation.

Day 5: Mexico City - Playa del Carmen

Breakfast at the hotel. At the convenient time, transfer from your hotel to the Mexico City airport to take your flight to Cancun. Upon arrival, assistance and transfer to your hotel in Playa del Carmen. Rest of the day free. All-inclusive accommodation.

Day 9: Playa del Carmen - Cancun - City of Origin

Breakfast at the hotel. At the convenient time, transfer from your hotel to the Cancun International Airport to take the return flight to your city of origin. Arrival and end of services.

Optional Extras

Chichén - Itzá Classic with lunch (Duration 12 hours), which includes: Tour to the archaeological zone of Chichén Itzá, we will visit a mystical “Sacred Cenote”, where we can refresh ourselves by immersing ourselves in its crystal-clear waters or simply enjoy one of the most beautiful relaxing landscapes that the destination offers. On the way back to Riviera Maya or Cancún, we briefly visit the city center of Valladolid, located in the heart of Yucatán.

Tulum Akumal (Duration 7 hours), which includes: Visit to the archaeological site of Tulum. Tour the main buildings. The main complex is walled, while one of its sides faces the incredible Mexican Caribbean Sea. Our professional guides will give you a tour inside this incredible walled city, a walk full of history, where you can take spectacular photos. Does not include USD 12 per person, corresponding to the reef tax (must be paid directly).
